Elizabeth is a Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering student at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, with a planned graduation date of May 2026. During the academic year, she conducts research in Dr. Simon Roger’s lab, studying the yielding behavior of complex fluids.
She is currently working in the Oakes Lab as a Summer Scholar under the NSF Accelerating Research Translation program. She is working with Lauren on the synthesis and characterization of hydrogels to improve cancer immunotherapies.
Outside the lab, Elizabeth enjoys watching movies, listening to music, rollerblading, biking, and spending time with her dog, Finn.
