Cole Weber

Cole is a PhD student in BME at UD. Cole graduated from the University of Michigan in 2025 and 2026 with a Bachelor’s and a Master of Science in Biomedical Engineering, respectively. At Michigan, he worked with Dr. Aaron Morris on paquinimod-loaded scaffolds to target the foreign body response and taught biomedical instrumentation. While at Michigan, he won a Master’s/Pre-Candidate Grant and Glenn V. Edmonson Scholarship for Excellence in Teaching. In the Oakes Lab, Cole is working with microneedles for immune engineering and therapeutic delivery, with a focus on treatment efficacy and stability in multiple sclerosis.

Outside of the lab, he likes to read, watch movies, work out, and consume any form of horror media.
