Bethany Watkins

Bethany is a Biomedical Engineering student at the University of Delaware, with a planned graduation date of May 2028. She is a part of the Ambassadors of Biomedical Engineering on campus which looks for outreach opportunities for the Biomedical Engineering department to teach more prospective students about the program. 

She is working to gain more research experience and understanding more about biomaterials, their applications, and lab management. She is shadowing and working with Lauren on the synthesis of hydrogels and their application in cancer immunotherapies.

Outside of the lab, Bethany enjoys going line dancing with her friends, watching horror movies, rooting for the Philadelphia Phillies, and playing pickleball.
